Boulud Sud kicks off our Miami Spice 2019 in Mediterranean style. Situated in the JW Marriott Marquis in downtown Miami, it is a great choice for Mediterranean cuisine by Chef Daniel Boulud and Chef Clark Bowen. The Miami Spice Dinner menu offered a diverse selection for appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Each of our selections were found to be flavorful and a great representation of the coastal Mediterranean.
Miami Spice Menu
Appetizers to choose from include soup, salad, hummus, or shakshouka. Main courses from seafood, pasta, chicken, or steak. Dessert selections include cheesecake, cheeses, or the Chickpea Millefeuille.
Moroccan Shakshouka, a dish of poached eggs in a sauce of tomatoes, spices, and garlic. Great combination of flavors as Boulud Sud includes kale, goat cheese, and a soft-poached hen egg. This was a great appetizer to start the evening!
Branzino A La Plancha with Freekeh, Apricot, and Tarator. An unforgettable main course! One of the most flavorful Branzino’s in Miami and an unforgettable aroma of Mediterranean seasonings.
Mascarpone Cheesecake with strawberries, pink grapefruit marmalade, and rhubarb sorbet. As a surprise dessert, we were very thankful that the Boulud Sud team also gave us a Chickpea Millefeuille to taste. This included chickpea, salted caramel bavariois, milk chocolate mousse, and lemoncello sorbet.
